Break into Story Ideas Co-Creation Session - Crafting a Comprehensive Movie Script Outline

Unlock your story and storytelling craft

In our decades-long journey through the maze as trusted partners to C-suite leaders in Transformation Consulting, we've stumbled upon a hidden treasure trove: the wisdom of CEOs who possess the magical ability to unearth the buried gems of a company's history. We facilitated co-creation sessions with these visionary leaders who don their metaphorical mining hats, excavating into the depths of their past to uncover the core essence that once made their organization shine.

And oh boy, when they strike gold, they don't just hoard it; we helped them polish it, refine it, and use it for transformation of their organizations into a glittering beacon of opportunity for their business's future that is beckoning for not only resilience, but screaming for widespread innovation.

But here's the kicker:

it's not enough for these CEOs to unearth these treasures. They need to share their bounty far and wide, weaving tales that stir the souls of their employees, igniting fires of inspiration that burn brighter than a thousand suns. These stories aren't just shared at the water cooler; they're passed down through generations and cascade through the organization, becoming the stuff of legend long after the company's founders have taken their leave.

Enter their trusty sidekick, we Transformation Consultants with expertise in storytelling craft. With our combined capabilities and skills, we cut through the chaos of the corporate world like a hot knife through butter, bringing clarity to the murky waters of uncertainty and disruption. Storytelling becomes our sword and shield, crafting narratives that breathe life into purpose and propel organizations toward meaningful impact.

But wait, there's more!

Our secret weapon? The Emotional Arc.

Picture this: a rollercoaster ride through the highs and lows of organizational change, complete with heart-stopping twists and turns. It's not just about engaging the mind; it's about capturing the heart, stirring emotions that drive action and foster engagement.

And where do we find these emotional triggers, you ask?

Why, in the silver screen classics, of course! We've mined the depths of cinematic excellence, extracting gems of wisdom from movies that master the art of storytelling with finesse.

But you might be wondering, what does all this have to do with filmmaking?

Well, let us tell you. Folks, well-made movies are more than just entertainment; they're masterful storytellers with emotional and intellectual triggers galore. They transport us to distant lands, immerse us in gripping narratives, and ignite our imagination like nothing else. Just like the tales spun by CEOs in the corporate world, these cinematic masterpieces hold invaluable lessons in the art of storytelling.

At iJOT Story Consulting, we've traversed the landscapes of Fortune 500 companies, deeply engaging with the realms and best practices of Business/Digital/AI Transformations. Along the way, we've gleaned insights and wisdom that transcend industries and disciplines. We've seen firsthand how storytelling can inspire action, drive change, and shape the course of history.

But here's the thing: the magic of storytelling isn't confined to boardrooms and business meetings. It transcends boundaries, crossing over into the realm of filmmaking. Movies, with their ability to captivate audiences and evoke powerful emotions, are the ultimate expression of storytelling prowess.

So, buckle up, fellow adventurers, for the journey ahead that promises thrills, spills, and a whole lot of storytelling magic.

Get ready to dive into the creative whirlwind!

Before our Co-creation Session kicks off, we need you to come prepared with your story in the form of a Logline and a clear Purpose for sharing it. For an even smoother sailing, take advantage of our Service Offer to generate a Minimally Viable Story Outline (MVSO) at least a week ahead of our session. This way, we can hit the ground running and make the most of our time together!

We assume that you have landed on a strong Story Idea in the form of a Logline and a purpose for you telling it. You may have even gone through our Lightening Story Outline offering to generate a minimally viable story outline (MVSO) to see what is possible.

We reflect on these together, and we start crafting a strong foundation for our Story Idea. This foundation would include, crafting a premise, a concept, and a theme for the story we are going to tell. We will develop a cast of characters with their profiles. centered around and orchestrated to challenge a compelling protagonist as they navigate the events in the story. We figure out the natural shape of the story by identifying the major plot points in the framework based on the three-act structure.

With all these core elements necessary for a well-told story, we build an outline with at least the major beats, if not the major sequences, needed to plot the outline, which will become the Story Map to start writing the First Draft of your script.
